Una mwcaspilla è un oggetto di mwcqgioielleria o mwcgbigiotteria decorativo disegnato per essere agganciato su un capo dell'mwcwabbigliamento come mwdagiacche, mwdqbluse, mwdgcamicie o mwdwvestiti.

Le spille sono generalmente realizzate in mweqmetallo prezioso come mwegargento o mweworo, ma a volte anche mwfabronzo o altri materiali meno pregiati. Spesso le spille sono decorate con mwfqsmalto o mwfgpietre preziose. Il loro utilizzo può essere meramente ornamentale, ma possono anche servire a tenere uniti insieme due capi.

L'uso delle spille era di mwgamoda già fra gli mwgqantichi romani e fra i mwgggreci, oltre che fra i mwgwcelti, tuttavia le spille più antiche rinvenute in mwhaEuropa risalgono all'mwhqetà del bronzo.
